Abstract : | In this report we analyze a model problem for the study of diffraction by thin wires.In a two dimensional context, we get interested with the outgoing solution to the Helmholtz equation outside an obstacle with small diameter (with respect to the wavelength) on the frontier of which is imposed a Dirichlet or Neumann homogeneous condition. An expansion with respect to the diameter of the obstacle, up to any arbitrary order, is provided for this solution. |
